Privacy Policy

JRT.community is a private community platform for Jordan Ranch and Tamarron residents and participating local businesses. We collect information you provide to create and secure an account, verify residency, operate profiles, publish content, support marketplace activity, manage business listings and sponsored placement, and provide support.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use JRT, this may include your full legal name, email address, account credentials, community, exact residential address, residency type, public-property verification result, proof-of-residency documents submitted by renters, profile photo, profession, business name, posts, listings, saved content, business information, sponsored-placement and billing information, support requests, and basic service/security logs.

What other residents see

Resident profiles display only the profile information intended for the community, including first name and last initial, profile photo if supplied, community, profession and business name if supplied. Your full last name, exact residential address, verification documents and private saved content are not displayed to other residents.

Residency verification

For property owners, JRT may compare the name, address and community you provide with publicly available Fort Bend County property information. Renters may be asked for proof of current residence such as a utility, gas, electric or internet bill. Verification information is used to determine eligibility and protect the resident-only community.

Payments

Optional Sponsored Leaderboard payments are processed by Stripe. Free business directory listings do not require payment. JRT does not need to store complete payment-card numbers in its application database. Stripe's own privacy and payment terms apply to its processing.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, verify residency, provide platform features, prevent abuse and fraud, moderate content, review business listings, operate sponsored leaderboard placement, respond to support requests, maintain security and comply with applicable law.

Sharing

We do not sell resident personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate JRT, such as hosting, database/authentication, payment and transactional-email providers, subject to their applicable terms. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or others.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including account operation, verification, security, disputes and legal obligations. Verification documents should not be retained longer than necessary to complete and support the verification decision. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update eligible profile information, request access or correction, ask privacy questions, or request account/data deletion through the JRT Contact & Support form.

Children

JRT is intended for adults who can create and manage a resident or business account. The service is not directed to children under 13.

Terms of Service

By creating or using an account, you agree to provide accurate information, maintain account security and use JRT lawfully. Resident access is limited to people who satisfy JRT residency verification. Business accounts do not receive access to private resident-only areas unless the individual separately qualifies as a verified resident.

You are responsible for content you submit and must have the right to post it. You grant JRT a limited license to host, display and process submitted content solely as needed to operate and promote the service according to the features you use.

JRT may review, restrict, remove or preserve content and may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, misrepresentation, unsafe conduct, policy violations, legal requirements or conduct that threatens the community or service. Features may change as the platform develops.

JRT provides a community platform and does not guarantee the identity, quality, safety, legality or accuracy of every resident, listing, business, deal or third-party service. To the extent permitted by law, use of the service and interactions arranged through it are at your own risk.

Community Guidelines

Keep posts relevant to Jordan Ranch, Tamarron or nearby community life. Be respectful and truthful. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate or expose private information about another person. Do not post scams, spam, illegal content, dangerous activity, sexually exploitative content, or content intended to facilitate crime.

Do not publish another resident's exact address, private contact information or verification information without permission. Safety concerns, suspected fraud and abusive content should be reported through Contact & Support. JRT may remove content or restrict accounts when needed to protect the community.

Marketplace Rules & Seller Disclaimer

The Marketplace lets verified residents offer lawful items for sale or for free. Listings must accurately describe the item, price and condition. Prohibited listings include illegal goods, stolen property, firearms or ammunition, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, recalled or unsafe products, adult sexual services, and other items prohibited by law or JRT policy.

JRT is not the buyer, seller, broker, escrow service, delivery service or guarantor in resident-to-resident transactions. Residents decide whether, where and how to complete a transaction. Use safe meeting practices, inspect items before payment and avoid suspicious payment requests. Disputes between residents generally remain between the parties unless platform safety or policy enforcement is involved.

Business & Sponsored Leaderboard Terms

Approved businesses may appear in the Local Business directory without a listing fee. Businesses may optionally purchase Sponsored Leaderboard placement by selecting their own monthly visibility bid. There are no fixed advertising tiers. Higher active bids rank above lower active bids within the applicable business category, subject to review, availability and platform rules.

Sponsored placement is clearly labeled and is separate from resident ratings. A paid position does not represent an endorsement, recommendation or quality determination by JRT or its residents. Resident-rating rankings cannot be purchased and are calculated separately from paid placement.

Businesses must provide accurate identity, contact, service and promotional information and must have rights to all logos, images, offers and claims submitted. JRT may reject, pause, remove or reclassify a business listing or sponsored placement that violates these terms, applicable law or community standards.

Leaderboard bids are monthly recurring charges processed securely by Stripe until canceled according to the checkout and billing terms. A bid determines relative paid placement only and does not guarantee impressions, clicks, leads, customers, sales, ratings or any financial result. If a subscription is canceled, unpaid, past due or otherwise inactive, sponsored placement may be removed and the business may continue to appear only in the free directory if otherwise approved.

Account & Data Deletion

You may initiate an account-deletion request from Contact & Support by selecting Account deletion. JRT will verify the request before deleting or de-identifying account data that is not required to be retained for security, fraud prevention, payment records, disputes or legal obligations. Deleting an account may remove access to posts, listings, saved content and other account features.

For privacy, verification or deletion questions, use the in-app support form rather than sending sensitive information through ordinary email.
